Jeff Danis, Vice-President of Supply Chain Management, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises
As vice-president of supply chain management for Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises, Jeff Danis is responsible for a fleet of 34 ships and an annual expenditure of $1.5bn. A 20-year veteran in the complex logistical challenge of buying, storing and moving products and services, he has held several management positions at Hughes Electronics, receiving the Marie Curie Award for Innovation while working at that company.
Danis then became executive director of worldwide sourcing for Raytheon Systems Company before becoming vice president of global purchasing and logistics for P&O Princess Cruises. He joined Royal Caribbean in May 2003.
