Resolve Marine Group, Inc. is a multi-faceted marine services group specializing in marine salvage, fire and hazard response and wreck removal in North and South America and the Caribbean areas.

Resolve Marine Group is one of the top OPA 90 services providers in US waters and has over 25 years' experience in major marine salvage, with an extensive record of successful projects, awarded and completed in open competition with the other salvage majors.

Resolve has earned a reputation for tackling unique and challenging projects that other contractors shy away from. Resolve is a founding member of the American Salvage Association.

The company’s in-house personnel includes a complete staff of salvage masters, salvage engineers, divers, fire fighters, equipment operators and technicians.  Resolve maintains an extensive inventory of emergency response equipment in warehouses in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Long Beach, Calif., and Mobile, Ala., in addition to a fleet of floating assets.

Resolve's team of on-call shallow water commercial divers heavily complements salvage efforts by providing underwater support in the way of hull inspections, underwater access fuel removal and underwater salvage and lightering preparation work.

ARTIFICIAL REEFING

Resolve Marine Services, Inc., is the subsidiary of Resolve Marine Group that handles special projects and artificial reef work. Resolve Marine Services, Inc., has placed more vessels on the ocean floor for the purpose of artificial reefing than any other company known and was the first company to ever successfully prepare a US Navy aircraft carrier for sinking as an artificial reef.

SHIPBOARD FIREFIGHTING AND HAZMAT RESPONSE

Resolve Fire and Hazard Response, Inc., is the all-inclusive one-stop answer to shipboard firefighting, hazardous material response and safety assurance and training. Additionally, this company trains more than 3,000 personnel per year in shipboard firefighting and hazmat response, among other emergency response subjects.

RESOLVE MARINE HISTORY

Resolve’s experience dates to 1980, when Joseph E. Farrell Jr. founded what was to become one of the most effective salvage companies in the Americas. Focusing its initial efforts on the upper Caribbean Islands, Resolve successfully tackled scores of challenging salvage and wreck removal operations.

Resolve’s abilities were tested in 1988, when the company was hired to consecutively re-float four deep-draft vessels which ran aground off the Jamaican coast. An unblemished success in the Caribbean forged a path of rapid growth and by 1990, an impressive record and solid reputation had been developed.

In 1992, expansion was further marked with the creation of Resolve Towing and Salvage, Inc., established to operate tug and barge units throughout the Caribbean. This company provides self-supporting tugs and barges ready to respond to distressed vessels at a moment’s notice.

As environmental concerns shaped the salvage industry throughout the world, Resolve expanded its client base by providing emergency response services to oil and chemical tankers regulated under the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA-90.) Subsequently, with the advent of OPA 90, individual states, such as California, implemented their own regulations and Resolve was there to meet those standards head-on.

In 1994, Resolve Fire & Hazard Response, Inc., was created to operate a state-of-the-art shipboard firefighting training facility in the heart of Port Everglades, Fl. This has allowed us to address both in-house and industry needs for specialized firefighting and hazardous materials training.
