Copec S.A. is one the largest and most respected marine bunker fuel supplier firms in South America; it services hundreds of international and local vessels per year, coordinated from the coastal city of Viña del Mar, in the central zone of Chile.

We started as a petroleum company, in 1934 and initiated the bunker service in 1970.

The company's business portfolio covers activities such as forestry, fishing, lubricants and the supply of bunker fuels.

MARINE BUNKER FUEL QUALITY

All marine fuels come from ENAP refinery. They hold a low metal and sulphur content (average under 1%). The quality of the product supplied by Copec meets and exceeds international specifications. The delivery of our marine fuels is covered by international norms: ISO 8217 –2005; NCH 2831 and MARPOL Annex VI.

CHILEAN COAST FUEL BUNKER SERVICES

Copec provides fuel bunker services for IFO and MDO fuels from northern Chilean ports by barge and truck at Arica, Iquique, Patillos, Patache, Tocopilla, Mejillones, Antofagasta and by pipeline at Huasco.

For central Chile IFO and MDO fuel bunker services are delivered from the ports of Ventanas, Quintero, Valparaíso and San Antonio by barge and truck.

Southern Chile is serviced by barge and truck from San Vicente, Talcahuano and Coronel Lirquén. MDO fuels are provided by truck and pipeline at Punta Arenas and Cabo Negro.
